Book a consultationSculptra is an injectable treatment containing poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. It stimulates collagen production and may help address selected facial volume changes and folds. The approach is gradual, with a plan based on your anatomy and the result you hope to achieve.
Emma assesses skin quality and facial structure, including whether the main issue is volume loss or excess skin. Your medical history, tendency to scar, allergies and previous injections help determine suitability. The product is injected into selected areas. A course may be recommended, with appointments spaced to allow review.
Early fullness can reflect treatment fluid and swelling; collagen-related changes develop later. The number of treatments and maintenance needs vary, and results are not guaranteed. Sculptra cannot remove loose skin or reproduce a surgical lift.
Bruising, swelling, tenderness and redness can occur. Follow Emma’s product-specific aftercare, including any massage instructions, and attend planned reviews.
Delayed lumps or nodules, inflammation and infection are possible. Rare vascular complications can cause tissue damage or visual harm. Sculptra cannot be dissolved in the same way as hyaluronic-acid filler.
