The skin is cleansed and the selected solution applied under supervision. Sensations and treatment steps depend on the formulation. Emma explains what to expect and provides specific aftercare.
Visible peeling is not a measure of success. A course may be discussed, but results are individual and depend on the concern and peel selected.
Redness, tightness and flaking may occur. Recovery varies with peel depth; do not pick the skin or restart active products before advised. Follow the recommended skincare and sun-protection routine.
Pigment changes, infection and scarring are possible, making careful selection and sun protection important. Some skin conditions or recent sun exposure mean a peel should be delayed or avoided.
